The District maintains approximately 3.8 acres of open space land situated throughout the Richards Farm neighborhood. (See green-shaded areas on the map above.) The District also owns and is responsible for maintaining the storm water detention areas (which collect the storm water runoff from the streets) - located on the northeast corner of the neighborhood and the southern border of the neighborhood along 72nd Avenue.
